I liked the characters and the slow reveal with Peter. It's a strong opening which does get you immediately interested but it doesn't play off that the whole time and the story and characters do develop and grow

The ending is sad and frustrating but that doesn't make it bad.

I loved this book from the first page I fell in love with Sally. I love her honesty and curiosity, she reminded me of Bella Baxter from the movie poor things in a way. This would be a 5 star read for me if the ending didn’t infuriate me so much! Highly recommend the read.

dare i say it went downhill because of the ending??? [spoiler] like, Peter gets away with everything??? i guess the author wanted it to end on a note like everyone just moved on... but i don't know i was hoping for more Peter stuff in the second half, but the story's really about Sally, right? still, i didn't feel totally satisfied, but it was a good read! the audiobook is well executed! 👍💋

what an incredibly heartbreaking book. through the course of the book, you learn to appreciate and understand each character and their perspectives. this book will certainly go down as one of my favourite reads of all time.
