This book is simply…wonderful. It’s listed as a romance but I think that’s wrong- it’s all about friendships, but it is, at it’s core, about love. This story makes me feel like I’m a teenager experiencing an epic summer again, and makes wish I had experienced a friendship like these three girls have. I don’t know if I’ll ever read the other books in this series, but this book could stand on its own it’s so lovely.

YA romance. It reminded me of the Traveling Pants books. Three very different girls find themselves thrown together and become friends.

This was very similar (in style and content) to The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, and extremely enjoyable. Many reviewers thought the characters were one dimensional, but I thought they were at least more rounded than the average YA novel, even if they were not quite as great as Ann Brashares' teenagers. Overall though, the plot, setting, characters, and writing style were fun, and I am excited to read the sequels.

This is a really good book about 3 girls with problems. Birdie's mom just up and left, leeda is the 2nd favorite kid in a rich family, and , well, lets just say that Murphy's got issues. I loved the ending, but the author didn't exactly end the book. I hope there's a second book...
