Ahhhhh, here is the character development I've been looking for!
In this episode, Inuyasha and Kagome have to defeat an army of spider/human demons. Unfortunately, Inuyasha turns into a full human because it's a new moon. Without his super demon strength, he finds it difficult to fight demons and even has to be rescued by Kagome.

Still follows the lines of the anime to a T.
InuYasha once again is forced to take what he considers a 'detour' and 'waste' his time helping 'mortals' against spiderheads. Only there is a slight problem....

Kagome and Inuyasha keep travelling in order to find the fragments of the Shikon no tama, and this time they arrive at a village where they meet Nazuna, an orphan girl who lives with the Priest at the temple. They stay there for the night, and eventually get more fragments of the Jewel.
Then, when an evil witch steals Kikyou's bones and earth from her grave, she plans to build Kikyou's body again and make her her slave. Until Inuyasha gets there, if he does get, Kagome will suffer a terrible fate.
