A great start to get a glimpse at how Brent, a retired serviceman, and Clark, a university professor, meet and start their relationship. I loved that this summer class was free to veterans and since it’s not a usual university scheduled class the veterans are able to bring their dogs with them. The small class gets a lesson outside of the textbooks while helping solve a few cold cases.
It’s a nice beginning for what I hope becomes a good story soon in a full length book.
