it was an okay book with a decent plot twist. don’t think i would have been able to read this book. listening was the best way to go

What the… how I stomached my way through that book was beyond me. I must have really wanted an audiobook while I cleaned my house. Because that was terrible. Absolutely awful. The amount of eye rolling cringy moments alone! Not to mention the so called “twist” that was hardly even a twist at all. She kills him because she likes killing people. But he just so happens to also be a serial killer with his victims heads hanging on the walls? And that all comes to pass the last 3 chapters of the book. I can not even. That was beyond lame. So many plot holes. Terrible writing and all around terrible book.

I should have known better than to read a book with a Colleen Hoover endorsement on the back. Sheesh!

I would give this 3.25 Stars ⭐️. I enjoyed the overall story and the twists were good. The characters were all kind of annoying. But for a quick read and thriller it wasn’t too bad.
