I can always appreciate when an audio book is narrated by the actual author but I enjoyed her first book “The Light Between Us” so much more. Both books are filled with short and sweet stories, but I could really take it or leave it. I would still recommend for anyone just starting to have interest in spirituality ✨

This was a lovely book that was gifted to me after my dad died suddenly. I had several visitations from him in dreams and felt like some birds in my yard were sending me signs, which this book supports. I did not love the writing style but was emotional during several parts so definitely recommend it with a caveat to those who are grieving.

Ok so i loved this book in the beginning a little, but the stories just got repetitive and tiring at a certain point. for the actual validity of everything, I just more enjoyed the idea of being more aware, thoughtful, and mindful of how we live and interact in the world, so I think some of the stories helped show that importance. But it just kept going, and I feel like it wasn't really teaching anything, but more just a collection of short stories.

So yeah, interested in the beginning, but after a little while I just wanted to be done cause nothing new we being offered. Also it was all about connecting people who were dead, so if you wanted signs in general you arent gonna really get that.

This book is no joke. From how and when this book came into my life to the beautiful explanation she gives of "the other side", I loved everything about this book. I am not very religious and sometimes questions what I was taught as a small child. My father recently passed away and I was having a hard time with the "why" and where was he now and all that comes with such a loss. This book has given me such PEACE. I recommend to anyone who has lost a loved one (or just anyone!) Beyond explaining how the other side communicates, Laura speaks an even more important truth in that we are all connected and it is our job to love and take care of one another.

I don't think this is likely to convince you if you are a skeptic. No amount of testimonials will do that. It really needs to be something you have to experience for yourself. That said, I think this book is meant for all of us out there that feel like there are some things in the universe beyond normal explanation, or have even experienced something like that ourselves and I found it very approachable. There are also only positive takeaways here, affirming connections, advocating for approaching the world with kindness and conpassion, and practicing mindfulness.
