The first book in this series didn’t hit me the way I’d hoped it would, but I’m so glad I kept reading, because I loved this book! I felt much more connected to the characters, and the storyline was more interesting.
Throughout the story, I thought I knew what was happening, and then something would change my mind, and then I’d be confused, and then the cycle would repeat. In the end, I was so right and so wrong at the same time.

I liked the building of relationships of the main characters. The plot took a lot of fun twists and turns and didn’t end the way I expected. I enjoyed that I couldn’t figure out the ending upon first glance.

I am loving this series! This one was so good, it had me hooked and I could hardly put it down! The plot twists!! Honestly Jennifer Lynn Barnes had only written fantastic books, I haven’t read a book of hers that I didn’t like, and I don’t think I ever will. Highly recommend this suspense/mystery series! However, do check trigger warnings before reading. This is definitely at least 13+ Age rating
