I enjoyed the book - it was a nice pleasant, lighthearted read. The book gives a really good insight into the impact of the class system in every day life in the early 20th century; so was interesting from a historical point of view and was also humorous in parts. I listened to it via audiobook and the narrator Sam Kelly really brought it to life.

The moral of the story is that status and money do not bring happiness, and this was shown through a roller-coaster ride throughout Kipp's life.
