An interesting fictionalised take on Chase Hughes' body of work. If you've read The Ellipsis Manual or 6 Minute X-Ray you can see links to the techniques he describes in those books within this.
This book wasn't really my style, but I adore Chase Hughes and wanted to see what his fiction writing was all about. I think this book would be well received by readers of Dan Brown and other more action-oriented writers. The story is gripping and interesting and the characters add a flavour to the mix that was enjoyable.
For those who are more into the classics and literature, I'd say to pass.
Any reader of nonfiction, check out Chase Hughe's Nonfiction books. They're great!

It is definitely my type of book. I love the spy - secret society genre. It has a nice pace, fantastic story and great characters. However, do all spy types have to be tortured alcoholics? It seems like some parts of the book is missing, it skips over areas that needs elaboration. Then in some cases it goes into too much elaboration in terms of explaining mind control and behaviour.
