There is something addictive in this shit because I am obsessed. By far my favourite in the series. I was giggling and squealing and just truly having THE BEST time (until the 80 - 91% mark, but we shall overlook that). On to the next.

Jules Ambrose and Josh Chen are sure of one thing—they hate each other. But when they begin an “enemies with benefits” arrangement, they just might realize that fundamental truth isn’t so true after all…
I loved SO MUCH about this book—Jules and Josh are both great MCs and their relationship was surprisingly sweet given that it started as hatred (or at least intense dislike). It was a true enemies-to-lovers romance, which is my absolute favorite trope, so I ate up the banter, tension, and explosiveness with a spoon. And that first date?!?! Let’s just say if someone planned that for me I’d be shopping for wedding dresses immediately.
All of that said, I dropped a star because there was a pair of choices (first an action from Jules and then Josh’s reaction to it) that I could not stand, and while I understand why they ultimately reconciled (that’s not a spoiler, this is a romance novel, come on), I only half forgave Josh myself.
Still, I’m having a BLAST reading this series, and I can’t wait for Stella and Christian’s story in Twisted Lies!
Recommended to anyone, but especially if you like: enemies to lovers; bromance moments; slow-ish burn tension
CW: Grief/death of parent; sexual violence; physical violence
Graphic: Death of parent, Sexual violence, Violence, and Sexual content
Moderate: Injury/Injury detail
