This is the absolute definition of fluffy. A nice break from the heavy I've been reading lately, but I think this went too far down the spectrum. I feel like I need to read Angela's Ashes to make amends.

The TV show is infinitely better than these books. They really turn Jessica Fletcher into a Mary Sue. But the other one I read was much more fun than this one. Convoluted is the only real way to describe it.

Another fun and interesting MSW story. One of my favorite aspects of the MSW books is the locations and this one set in Rome and Chicago was pretty cool. The murder and the world of high priced and rare art and the theft of it was extremely interesting. Another fun adventure with Mrs. Jessica Fletcher.

2.5 stars. It was going to be 3 because I thought the two stories were going to weave together but without the connection, the Italian storyline fell flat.

Murder at art - both in Italy and US. Good story.

Fun, quick read. I had no idea there was a Murder She Wrote book series, I happened to walk by this one at the library. Jessica spends time between Rome and Chicago in this one, it would have been nice to have her in Cabot Cove with all of the regulars. Lovers of the TV series will enjoy this book.

This one felt heavily padded and not very grounded in reality. The characters were just too strongly quirky to make the relationships or behavior seem realistic.
