I made a mistake and read this book last in the series which took away a bit of the experience :( 
I think it should be the 3rd book in the series, not the first!
Celeana was a brat and she didn't fully understand who she was playing with (Arobynn, Rourke). 
Sam's ending was sad, but actually not as heartbreaking as I expected for some reason? 
I would have loved it more when it would have been one story and not short stories that didn't really flow.
