• I went into this book completely blind, I just knew it was a enemies to lovers, Fae Novella, spicy romance series! I was genuinely surprised how much I liked it

Fae stuff aside. It was hard to believe. Who's running away with someone they haven't even known for 12 hours... I'll still probably read the next one just hard to get past the unbelivableness of it.

I’m disappointed

I love books with fae and I loved the premise set forth before reading but I finished this book last night and when I did, all I could think was, That’s it? They basically ran around from danger the whole time. No plot other than having to get this mysterious girl to the fae land. Period. She has no clue who any of these fae are, much less ever hearing about that land, yet she somehow is critical to that lands future.

So I did enjoy the book, but didnt love it. I may continue the series only because of the cliffhanger at the end. Really just to find out what happens next. This would not be the first book I would recommend to anyone who asked for a recommendation. Im really hoping book two stands out and is far better. Wish me luck on my journey through this series, should I decide to continue it.

Ava has done it again. She's created a series that has it all. Forbidden love, action, romance, and Fae... Where is the movie for this? I received an ARC copy of this book.
Very quickly I got sucked into this world by the end of the second chapter. I adore Kip, Stryder, Harley, and Roane. The foursome work together to keep Kip safe from the Fae, who are after, even one themselves. They're all well developed and feel very much like real people. Kip and Stryder's relationship is adorable, but man is it filled with tension. Kip's life has taken an unexpected twist only just after her twenty-first birthday.
Seriously, Ava can do no wrong. I have read lots of her books, and I'm excited to see where the rest of the series goes.
