4 1/2 Stars. This book was far more remarkable than I ever imagined it would be. Although I found the reporter style somewhat unusual, once I picked the novel up I could hardly put it down. There was so much mystery and suspense--I was always eager to find out what was going to happen next. Plus, the emotions portrayed were so real and poignant that I felt my eyes brimming with tears several times(and by the end I was officially crying).

This is by far one of the best classics I have ever read.
