So slow. I don’t care for the grumpy/sunshine trope. The two main characters felt like tropes and not actual people.

The flashbacks were a little too much for me, and I feel like this focused more on the wedding planning than the relationship. Overall it was cute though!

This book was cute and had the potential for a 5 star. It was nice getting “then” but, I would have loved more of the “now” as a couple. The ending felt rushed to me.

This book should be labeled fantasy because finding love in Sacramento?? A girl can dream lol

Ama was annoying but not top ten most insufferable FMC level annoying. Girl desperately needs a therapist. ALSO “I have an IUD” is not enough, Ama. Everyone and their mother has chlamydia, stay safe out there.

I thought the dual timeline worked really well and also enjoyed the dual POV. I felt that Ama and Elliot’s relationship was very surface level-y but it is what it is, I still enjoyed their dynamic (does that make me toxic? I feel like that makes me toxic).

Also Hazel just all around sucks. Justice for Jackie and her heirloom bathtub, they deserve better.
