I didn’t know much about Pamela except the obvious so it was interesting (and sad) to read about her life and rise to fame. I enjoyed her artistic expression through her poetry that she includes in the book. I wanted more thought about her life and her thoughts and feelings rather than just stating the facts.

You have to listen to the audiobook! Pamela Anderson is a gift to the world. Period.

A solid companion to Pamela Anderson's Netflix documentary, Pamela: A Love Story, which I enjoyed from start to finish.

I'm grateful that Pamela Anderson wrote this memoir to share her life experiences. It's not as if I ever thought she was a bimbo. As I kid I really enjoyed "Baywatch," and despite people always making jokes about, and hypersexualizing, her, I never thought badly of her. Then, when the sex tape scandal arose, even then, I felt like she was unfairly receiving the brunt of the negative attention, even if I didn't think about it through a feminist lens as I do now. This memoir, even taking account that she is showing herself in flattering light (as most memoirs do), provides insight into Pamela's intelligence, thoughtfulness, curiosity, creativity, compassion, and tenacity. Although she said that she sometimes felt like her "breasts have a life of their own and she is only along for the ride," as can be seen from this memoir, one of the reasons why she had such an unconventional life and opportunities is because, in addition to her physical beauty, she has an "it" factor that is more about having these other qualities.
