My Thoughts On: Buffy the Vampire Slayer #8
1. I love that Buffy dresses up as a bat for Halloween, and I particularly love that no one can tell what her costume is.
2. All of Buffy's parental figures are at the gala, introducing themselves to each other and their partners (which I love that they use as a preferred term!), and then talking about how much they love and admire Buffy. This is perfect.
3. Buffy glaring daggers at Robin, who is dancing with a girl who looks like her, is such a relatable mood.
4. Random Guy in Mask (who we all know is Angel because this level of vague could only be Angel) pointing out the flaws in Buffy's bat costume is my new favorite thing. "Bats don't have tails, by the way." "What?" "Your costume-- It's why people don't know if you're a cat or a dog. Bats don't have tails."
5. Don't you love it when you just want a date night with your significant other looking at relics, and instead you discover that one of them is the key to opening the Hellmouth?
6. Drusilla, HOW DARE YOU QUESTION THE BRAVERY OF ONE JENNY CALENDAR! I can't even!
7. Where can I get a poster of Drusilla daggering Spike in a throat? Seriously, this page is insanely good, and once again props to David Lopez for being very good at his job.
8. And now the Hellmouth is open... Great... This can't go wrong at all...
9. Oh, Willow, I have a feeling that indulging in magick right now will not help.
10. Moving onto the Hellmouth series... Let's see what happens next, guys!

I am loving this story so much but the way the faces are drawn in this new arc is so not my jam and it's making it hard to keep reading
