An interesting look at a series of unsolved murders in Austin, TX in the late 1800s, most likely attributable to a serial killer. He doesn’t get any closer to uncovering the who, but it’s an interesting historical case file nonetheless.
However, I think it’s important to note that he does use the n-word four times in the book. While all four are in a historical context, they seem superfluous and not needed to convey the point he was making. It’s particularly jarring to hear them spoken on the audiobooks .
