I loved this book until the last chapter. The twist (which I kept anticipating because it was highly suggested there’d be a big twist including on the cover of the book) was completely detached from the entire rest of the story. A great twist leaves bread crumbs behind so once it’s revealed you can think back and put the pieces together. What could have been so interesting if explored better just falls flat on its face. So disappointing!
