This was a reread for me, I read it when it first came out. And just like then, I feel like I'm missing something. It's not that this is a bad book in anyway, it's quite good, but I just wasn't particularly wowed. I felt like Max and Rachel (followed quickly by Rye) fell in love entirely too quickly, I guess I just like a bit more build up.

I did like all the characters and the town, so I'm sure I'll read the others eventually, but I don't feel in any huge rush to do so.

It's a romance with a HEA, but highly enjoyable. I want to read more about Bliss!

Fans of Lexi Blake's Masters and Mercenaries may be a bit disappointed in this book. Originally published in 2010 it does not have the tight construction of her later work. That said, it delivers the elements that make Ms. Blake's books fun to read: Determined heroine, hot alpha males, strong emotional development, steamy times, snappy dialog, and a good dollop of action and suspense. It also contains an extra portion of angst from all three main characters that got a bit tedious and led to some skimming.

It was ok, cute but a little cheesy.

It bothered me that Rye wasn't included until almost the end of the book. Not much of a menage if one member is left out of the threesome until approx 80+% of the book.

Initially I felt like Max was made out to be this big mean person who wasn't too bright, and Rye was the resident player. Then it seemed like the edges of those initial impressions were softened, so neither man's personality seemed as unattractive.

Next, I could understand Rachel fearing the cops (Rye), but there were plenty of townspeople she could have asked about Rye to feel him out. I also felt that if she felt close enough to his brother to have an intimate relationship, she could have explained her situation to Max. She ended up putting them both in danger.

This book has elements of suspense and danger, but overall, it is a steamy menage story that occurs in a town full of quirky characters, relationships and situations.

Three to Ride is the first book in the Nights In Bliss, Colorado series and I’m not sure what to make of this title. The story started out good and then just some elements of the story didn’t sit well with me and really turned me off for about 10-15% of the story. I had to struggle to continue going through the story. I think these areas could have been handled so much better and it would have been a positive aspect of the story instead of being a detriment. Thankfully it picked and started getting really good otherwise I don’t know if I would have been able to finish it.

Hilarious and heartwarming…

While laugh out loud funny this story is also thought provoking about abuse. Instant attraction between Rachel and Max and Ryan doesn’t cover the ménage thing but makes for lots of sexy angst.

LOVED LOVED LOVED. I'v read other Sophie oak n loved them too. Saw this series on my goodreads recommendation and i liked the reviews posted. The relationship moves fast in book but I don't mind that. This book really made me laugh. The whole town is kinky and great HEA.
