This one was fun as well, though at some points a bit repetitive. A page-turner nonetheless.

Yet again, Shepard outdoes the previous novel in the series. The plot twists ans turmoil are engaging and thrilling. The next book is sure to shine just as bright, if not brighter!

I loved the Sutton-Thayer relationship. Though I just bought the book to read Sutton's parts in it. I find Emma to be a really boring character which is weird because I'm not the type to go for the mean girl but Sutton in my perspective has come to understand that she was a complete bitch before she died. And during most of the flashbacks with Thayer and Sutton we get to see the nice and caring Sutton not bitch Sutton.
★★★★★/★★★★★ for Sutton's parts and ★★☆☆☆/★★★★★ for Emma's parts.

Three stars. I liked the other books in the series more. I felt like this one had a few slow spots.

This one was a little bit slow. I still enjoyed it, but it could have been quicker paced. I will read the next ones all the same.

The chapter titles are so dumb. And Detective Quinlan is super unprofessional. And if my guess is correct, based on the minuscule detail included in this book related to Emma's arrival in Tucson, then I called it waaaaaay back in the beginning.
