A joy of brief vignettes about the wonderful life of birds, as well as accidental insights into the author. Fun to read, if not all that urgent- but hey who said every book had to be.
Recommended if you like birds, fantasies of the inner workings of nature, imagining how a fight would have gone down in the shower.

This is a lovely, lovely book. Amy Tan's drawings are as appealing as her prose and she obviously loves the feathered creatures in her yard.
