Angelus Rose is a lot like Lost Angels. Lorelei making more enemies when she needs friends. Azaziel living in the gray area and acting a tad bit selfish for an angel. Both of them trying to decide if their love is worth it. Or if they could even go back from the trouble they have caused. If you like Lost Angels your going to like Angelus Rose.

What stood out to me was the battle scene. Battle scenes are not my favorite to read. I like them, but I love to read the politics, witty dialog between characters, backstabbing plays, romance. Battle scenes I usually read as fast as I can to find out the outcome.

But in Angelus Rose, the battle scene kept me interested! Very few do. I loved how it switches from character to character. Didn’t drag out each scene too long for tension build-up. You got to read each character triumph or perish without getting overwhelmed. The cake topper was right after the battle! I won’t spoil it for you.
