While doing my HP reread, I read this beastly book in stages. This was the ultimate gift for a fan of the series, and I loved getting a closer look into the making of the movies, interviews with cast, and the gorgeous photos. I really looked forward to opening up each movie chapter after finishing the books. Additionally there are extensive sections on characters, locations, magical creatures, and more. Nerd alert!! I loved it.
Rereading this series and revisiting this world is tough in today’s age because rather than quite literally keeping her mouth shut, the author has decided at every opportunity to stand on the wrong side of history and throw shade at her trio leads for standing up for the rights of all so it goes without saying but:
JK Rowling is a transphobic piece of shit TERF

Okay, so I admit that I didn't technically read every word of the book but a lot of it I did read and I looked at all the pictures. :) Anyway, it's a great book with so many amazing behind-the-scenes photos and interesting info. A very relaxing read!
i felt that this book was light on actual information, but it does have a lot a great pictures. HOWEVER, the picture of fetus Voldemort sucking on Nagini's snake boob is now horribly burned into my brain. for that, i am dropping the rating on this book from four to three stars. /shudder
Fun pictures and preproduction sketches, but the damn book is too heavy to just hold and READ. I hope it comes out in paperback :)

a really fun behind-the-scenes book. i kept thinking it might be worth buying but i don't think i'd really look at it enough to make it worth it. not to mention that there isn't so much content in it that i would want to re-read. but the pictures are great, and it's fun to see the continuity of the whole thing.
Loved it. If you are a Potter fan who drools at the idea of getting a closer look at the props, costumes, etc, get it. Great stories about casting and how they approached the different movies with astonishing attention to detail.
