A fun look into the little secrets that live behind your neighbors doors. This was a quick read but also kept you wanting to find out the next crazy thing that would happen in the neighborhood.

The whole book I felt like I was just getting the gossip filled scoop about friends of friends. The book was well written, but the topic didn’t hold my interest particularly.

This was filled with scandal and i loved it. Everything the author captured felt so real. The characters and their problems could have been their own tv show

I didn't like this book mainly because A) It was aggressively, persistently fatphobic (there was also a flippant comment about eating disorders) and B) The man who gets cheated on is actually abusive in his rage but it seems like the book just says, "shrug, he's just upset." His behavior is really over the line and unacceptable. That contributed to an overall ethis of meanness in the book that I just couldn't get on board with. For me, it's not fun without sensitivity.

I kept reading as long as I did (almost to the end) because sometimes the writing was entertaining and thoughtful.

A solid three. This book try is a little too hard to be funny, and a little too hard to be serious, when it should’ve just let go and let it be what it is, A little vignette on life in the suburbs for families, and the trails and tribulations we all come across.

this book is very funny to me! surprisingly! the dialogue could be completely serious but i took it for satire and it was light hearted read
