I have very little knowledge of British Royalty so this was very informative for me. I realize it is only one side of the story but, man, it does sound like a really tough spot to be in. Always asking permission to do anything, to feel anything, permission to marry who you love.

It was pretty interesting to get an inside perspective on such a public family. I didn’t really follow the drama closely. If I did I might have found it more interesting. Nevertheless, hearing how Harry views himself and the rest of the family is interesting.
The book was pretty long, but his narration was quite nice. I didn’t end up losing treat after my loan went out and I had to turn it in. After that I didn’t pick it up again for quite awhile, even though I was at 80%. It could have been a little shorter.
How they were treated was quite unfortunate, and it sucks that the media made it more difficult for him to have a good relationship with his family. It seemed they cared more about public opinion. It also seemed that people definitely were targeting them and that the rest of the family was going along with it, especially his grandmother. I guess mayme he was more willing to rebel and explore since he was the Spare.
I did actually quite enjoy his telling of the military experience. It was interesting to hear how he felt about all of it. Though I don’t really remember much know considering I read it almost a year ago.
