I really loved this. Makes me want to go watch the shows.
Edit to add: Started The O.C. for the first time immediately after finishing this book.

on the basis of sheer nostalgia, this book is perfection.
Sweet and nostalgic still down memory lane. Freaks & Geeks was clearly the best part, but the rest of the book was nicely done, too.
A super fun, nostalgic romp into the teen shows that created the foundation of my younger years.

Each chapter and the show it covered was concise but still covered a lot of ground and there was a good flow to the content. Not too much new information for some shows I personally have already dove in deep about but a good read nonetheless.
This was a very informative book on how all the shows came to be but I don't really think it really covered how these shows changed TV as the title says it would. But I learned some things and wanna go rewatch several shows, so yay for nostalgia
Libby audio. A fun listen/read for anyone that grew up with/watched these shows: Fresh Prince, My So Called Life, Dawson’s Creek, the OC, Friday Night Lights, Glee, Freaks and Geeks
4.5. Loved it all, but especially MSCL, my all time favorite. But now I want more! Give me 90210, Party of Five, Felicity, Gilmore Girls, One Tree Hill! I’ll be ready for the sequel!
