I like this series but this was way too long for the audience and those reading with them. Could have been about 100 pages shorter and told the same story.

I know it's not written for my age group, but I just didn't enjoy this one as much as the 3 previous volumes. I love dragons, but the creativity just wasn't there. It crept in a bit with the Trolls' pantry, but I missed all the monsters and maps like in previous books (there were some, just not as many). And is it just me, or was that ending much more sappy than other books. I hope Mr. Stilton isn't losing his touch.
