Weak ending aside, I really enjoyed this one! Pretty fluffy for a CNC relationship too. I found both MCs engaging and I enjoyed watching their relationship develop.

I didn’t read between the lines before starting this book, and didn’t anticipate the strong r@pe fantasy theme. Stalking fantasy was more mild. The consensual non consent went too far for me, and I skimmed those parts. If those weren’t included, the romance would have been four stars.

What to expect: stalker/kidnap kink, CNC, forbidden romance, forced proximity, beauty and the beast references, grumpy(him)/sunshine(her)

I really enjoyed this one!!! The stalker/kidnap kink was done really well and wasn’t too dark.

There was a ton of humor in the book, and often found myself laughing out loud and sending lines to friends.

If you’re looking to get into dark romance from romcoms this would be a perfect started book!
