The erotica part was fine though there wasn't nearly enough aftercare. Almost everything else was somewhat painfully cringey and embarrassing to read. The ending just wasn't it. A romance book written in third person was a definite pallet cleanser.
Graphic: Sexual content
The main kink explored is consensual non-consent. Essentially rape roleplay. Everything done in the book is consensual but there sadly isn't much aftercare.hoopsicle's review against another edition

You can just tell when Tessa Bailey is the author of a book, she has such a talent for incorporating humour into her books without it being cringey and forced. I will say the whole “fun-sized” nickname was an ick for me personally, but that was probably my only complaint.
When I realized the book was about an aspiring comedian I was worried, and I expected it to be awkward and unenjoyable to read about, but they did a great job at executing the plot in a way that was funny and captivating (hehe)
The spice in this book was AMAZING. It was a nice change from the mostly vanilla scenes that you usually find in Tessa’s books. They did a great job of taking a dark kink and writing it in an almost light hearted way. I would read this again just for the spice.
I wasn’t a huge fan of the epilogue being mostly cantered around the MC’s career, but nonetheless this book definitely still earned 5 stars from me.

There were some issues with the plot, but are we really reading it for the plot???

Where can I get my own Blake? The way he worked to make her sexual fantasies happen while keeping her safe was the hottest thing.
