My first foray I to igms and all the stories were interesting. Nothing extraordinary though but I can see that past or future issues should have some excellent reading material available.

This rating is for James Beamon's short story "Light Crusader's Dark Dessert". I read the short as part of the 2015 Not-A-Hugo-Sampler Sampler Edition, and have not read any of the other works in this issue.
This short story was my favorite of the sampler issue. It's a very fun, amusing adventure with some beautiful moments in it. It mixes a whole bunch of different genres together, but pulls it off masterfully. All of the characters were very well portrayed, and the plot is woven well. I kind of wish I could get a print version so I could keep it forever.
