Interesting premise, and I did like some of the characters and I appreciate that they were a diverse group. However, I found some elements a little clunky and/or just kind of nasty. Ultimately just not totally my cup of tea.

Brutally boring beginning that was wildly different to the rest of the book, which ripped along on its own excellent fantasy mystery. Very in love with its own ideas of policing, which goes down rather sour in 2020.
