Shadowhall Academy is the new spooky middle-grade series from Phil Hickes. I recently binge read the Aveline Jones series and this new series is such a lovely surprise for me. Lilian Jones starts a new boarding school and finds herself in a spooky situation. I loved the eerie setting of the boarding school and the strong bond of friendship between the girls. I highly recommend this book if you like the Aveline Jones series or spooky adventures. I can't wait to read more. Thanks to the Usborne Publishing and Netgalley for the arc.

Genuinely Creepy! Perfect for fans of boarding school mysteries but not for the faint of heart. Craftily plotted with excellent use of folklore.
