After reading 7 of the 8 Bridgerton books they all tend to blur together. For anyone considering reading the series just pick one or two and read those because they become pretty benign after a while.  This book was kept a little more lively than the last two (Francesca - very basic, and Eloise - truly terrible). With the plot focusing on the mystery of unraveling the secrets in Gareth's grandmother's diary. Thankfully for that I was able to maintain my interest, having some much Lady Danbury also helped. Overall the book was okay. It kept a decent pace and we got a love story, I would have loved to see Gareth’s father suffer more though. As I said before, the way these books are written you only need to read one or two to get the general gist. Don't be like me and determined to read them all out of some foolish notion.
My current ranking of the books from best to worst(And also the ones I would most recommend reading): Colin, Anthony, Hyacinth, Franchesca, Benedict, Daphne, Eloise

SUPER CUTE!!! I don't think it is as good at Francesca's book and some of the things Gareth said were a little suspicious but, I had a good time!!

The most fun read yet of the Bridgerton series! Loved the mystery element, and Hyacinth is great. Hyacinth is everything I wanted Eloise to be.
