Tor.com free short story.
I'm not a huge fan of the super hero genre, so I was not thrilled that this was the next story in my Tor.com challenge. But this story was really quite good. I've never taken the time to realize how lonely being invincible could be.

An interesting variation of the Superman story, told with spare detail and the seriousness which sometimes keeps Superman from being totally absurd. It's only a couple hundred words and you can read it in a couple minutes.

I just read this yesterday and have forgotten much of it already but I do remember that I enjoyed reading it. I liked the twist on Superman's background
