If you’re somewhat familiar with Chinese mangas/novels, this comic will not surprise you in the slightest with its plot nor its characters. I did, however, enjoy it despite being aware of where the story was going.
The trope of meeting your loved one in a different universe/life is not an entirely new concept, especially in modern Chinese stories, but what hooked me to the story completely was the art style. It was breathtakingly striking!
Overall, would recommend, still- to the readers who want to get a grasp on what kind of stories Mo Xiang Tong Xiu and etc. have to offer in the genre.

What a sweet story. The art is absolutely gorgeous. It conveys the emotions so perfectly. There were panels I just had to stop and stare at for a bit.
