In my opinion, this one is better than Book 1 in this series and now I have to wait for over 8 months for the next book in the series. I gobbled this up. It was fast paced, action packed and a dual narratives with a third narrative thrown in toward the end.  I assume that the third book in this series will have a lot more of Frances' POV and lots of dragons. There was a lot of character growth and less bullying from the MMC which I enjoyed and suited the story progress.
I will definitely be continuing the series.

I did DNF this at 50 pages but I picked it back up! Enjoyed this one once it got going but it was so slow at the beginning! The slow burn enemies to lovers is getting frustrating. Overall once it did get going I couldn’t stop reading ! Will definitely read book 3 x

Did I love this duology? No I didn't. It was a fun easy read. If you're looking for something fun and easy to digest this would be a good book. If you're looking for a complex story with beautifully written detail that paints a picture in your head - no this is not the book for you.
The story line is choppy. The characters are hard to connect with or even get attached to. There is a lot of back and forth with the characters which is annoying. You get thrown into the story without any real background on how things came to be, about the world the book is based in, about the past of characters. There wasn't much detail or information to devour :(
But like I said - the story is fun.

I need the last book asap

A little better than book one and again ends on a big cliffhanger.

Definitely predictable and a mesh of other popular fantasy books. A little disjointed but entertaining and I’ll read the next book to see how everything ends.
