Ahh! This book was even better than the last book! Ugh. I am gutted that book 3 doesn't release until next year sometime. So Blake started out insufferable. I mean even worse than he was in the first book, but gawd the hate tension and angst was so delicious! The toxicity of their relationship reaches an epic level, but Blake's character growth is out of this world. Also about him and Kage - WTAF? Nyaxaris puts Tairn's grumpiness to absolute shame and of course you can't help but love him. I can not WAIT to see his relationship with Medra blossom. That is just getting started. I also forgot to mention in my review of book 1 that this series (so far) I actually love the little pet name Blake gave her. "Little dragon" is adorable and it's also not grossly overused. Seriously though, the end of this book has my emotions freaking everywhere! I'm a little pissed at the cliffhanger to be honest. What the hell am I going to read now that's going to make me feel better?!?!

This book is better than the first. I can’t wait for book three to come out. There was never a time I was bored with this book. I love the characters, the authors wring style. This book absolutely leaves off on a cliffhanger. This is how you write a book!!!!!

I had mixed feelings about the first book, but the second book? Yeah, it hooked me.
A LOT of character development in this one, and starting to see things unfold in this.
Excited to see where the 3rd book takes us.

Solid 4! Better than the first book. Quick, great read! A bit darker than the first one with a couple of twists i’m not sure what I think of just yet but the cliffhanger in the end makes me crave book number 3!
