I feel very mid about the whole book. The spice was decent, but personally for me I feel as if I have read better with these tropes before. It was still enjoyable just not my favorite.

If anyone was going to get me to read a sports romance it was going to be Clio Evans and Ashley Bennett. I thought I would go my entire life without reading anything even sports adjacent but they got me with the monster pucking. All in all it was a quick cute read and while it wasn't my favorite from these authors, it was definitely enjoyable (even if sports were involved).
