Ellie and her sister, Cassie, survived a massacre where everyone in their subdivision was murdered - except for five children/teenagers. Five years after the murders, someone is coming looking for them and Ellie and the gang need to find out what happened then and how they can stop what is going to happen now.

I thought the story was decent. It kept a good pace that kept me interested for the most part. There were some random things thrown in that kind of made sense at the end, but I wasn’t a fan of the ending. The author clearly didn’t want a neat little ending where they all lived happily ever after, but it seemed like a lot mentioned at the end of the book.
