I listened to the audio version of this book, as well as reading the paperback. I really enjoyed the setting and the atmosphere. I thought it built tension, unease and the characters were enjoyable. Some parts had a bit too much exposition or were slow paced. But I enjoyed the historical research tidbits. The ending (a bit rushed) was satisfying, but not surprising. Spooky, atmospheric, enjoyable.
