It is hard to accept that some people have no morals, scruples or respect for human life, but even harder to accept when governments accept and even breed this kind of immorality and disrespect.

Loved the change of continent, and the Tiger was an exceptional adversary for Alex Cross. Action packed, easy read read, one that will have you turning pages till late in the morning. Pick it up. Two thumbs up!

I've enjoyed pretty much all of the Alex Cross books but this one just seemed to drag.

This might be my least favorite Alex Cross book. Alex is a great detective, the Dragon Slayer, but why did it take him so long to find the missing part of the manuscript. He would have found the checks rewritten to the typist long before he even went to Africa.

Oh Gosh! I can't believe I'm going to say that this Alex Cross book bored me to death! It's the first time that I resented a book and wanted to stop reading. Not only it's boring, but repetitive and slow. This was only about Alex being kidnapped and tortured.

Typical Alex Cross: Messy, fun, and a little shallow where it thinks it’s deep

I didn't enjoy this story as much as most of the others in the series so far. Not sure if that's because a lot was based in Africa so he wasn't working with the normal characters until he was back in Washington.

This book was really bad. Alex Cross seems to think he is God. The premise of this is a gang is killing entire families. They are found to be coming from Africa so Alex decides to go to Africa to find the ring leader. Now this is the Africa that is in civil unrest and morally corrupt. Alex is amazed to find he runs into trouble because of this. Don't bother with this junk. Patterson and his writer of the month have obviously hit bottom. Take a pass!!!
