„Redeemed“ is the most humorous book in the series, and that despite dealing with some serious topics.

The beginning is hilarious in my opinion, and as someone who is a bit tired of this bunch of cartoony sweet romcom books, I was surprised how the humor drew me in and made me burst out laughing.

Admittedly I wasn't too thrilled for Santi's story -  Noah, Liam and Jax were my golden trio, and while I've always thought that he was pretty sweet, I can't say I was particularly interested in him getting his own book. Boy, was I wrooong!
This book isn't just a cool addition to "Throttled" with Maya being Santi's sister and therefore also an important instance in his life (in other words: Maya & Noah content! Yay), but it also adds so many layers to Santiago character-wise, while still recognizing what kind of character he is under this coat of pain and depression that is suffocating his light.
Chloe is at least as fascinating as Santi, if not even more so. Yes, her flying all the way to Europe to some Italian small town to find her father is a tat ridiculous...but it also suits her and her personality. I can't help but love her passion. She makes me laugh a lot throughout the book, while also being more than a character for comic relief but instead a character with her emotional scars and a lot of depth.
Noahs friendship with Santiago is one of the best parts of this book. He is such a loyal friend and never gives up on him.

Tropes and themes:
- sports romance
- (ex) F1 driver
- new girl
- grumpy x sunshine
- fake dating
- past trauma
- one bed
- found family
- depression
- dual PoV

This was so sweet! From start to finish. I absolutely love Santi. It took him a min ti soften but omg when he did!!! He was so good for her. Chloe needed him…well they both needed each other. Their relationship was so sweet! He deserved to be happy. And so did she. When the kids showed to to his race I wanted to sob! It was so pure and perfect. The book points out how important it is to give yourself grace and to love and appreciate you even when things don’t necessarily work the way you want them to. Also how important it is to be grateful for everything no matter how small.

I wanted to love this book. The characters and story line are sweet to where I feel bad giving it 3 stars but man was it painfully predictable. There’s also way too many mushy emotional monologues, like at the end of almost every chapter. It had me skimming over things just to get past the dramatic repetition. Not a terrible read but I honestly couldn’t wait for it to be over.

My joint favourite with wrecked. Not what I was expecting but I rather enjoyed it!
