A funny book about a penguin that wants to go on vacation. A crab teaches him how to have fun at a beach and then penguin teaches the crab how to have fun in the snow. This would make a good read aloud for elementary children.

I love this series! Penguin goes on a tropical vacation and meets a new friend, Crab...then they get to go on vacation to visit each other. Adorable.

This was a cute, quick read. Though less appealing to an adult than more artistically created picture books, I would highly recommend this book to parents of a child who has recently made a new friend on vacation. Penguin, upon having to leave his vacation-friend, Crab, reflects the sense of loss young readers might feel at leaving a friend behind.
