Spencer is a suit wearing, highly intelligent tech geek. Dylan is the rough and tumble bodyguard/“entertainment manager” for a club. When the two meet under harsh circumstances the instant attraction is seen by everyone. But can the two men from very different worlds make the relationship work? Or will it just be quick sex wit her no strings? With adorable characters once again Aria Grace does not disappoint.

The intensity increases

With each book in the series. I'm really enjoying this and how each relationship is coming together. I'm off to read book 5!

Another fast-paced read in the More Than Friends series. The romance in this one is kind of an opposites attract story with the geeky Spencer and the mafia tough, Dylan. I say kind of because neither of these characters are the typical stereotype of what they represent. Spencer is a self-professed geek, but he does step outside the box when he needs to. Dylan is smart, caring, and unsure of himself. I have to say that even though I liked both characters, I never quite bought in to them as a couple. Something about them just didn't quite mesh for me. That aside, the story, with its suspense and drama of the fallout from Choosing Happy, was good. Plus, I was glad to see a bit more of Steve and Joey, an added bonus! Although the blurb does indicate that this is a standalone, and I suppose that it could be read on its own, but I would highly recommend reading the previous book, Choosing Happy, to fully understand the relationships as well as knowing why certain things are happening.

another good book in this series!

i love the hot nerd so spencer is a great addition to the characters in this series! he is strong and vulnerable at the same time. he's looking for a permanent relationship and was struck dumb when he first met dylan. he's a little nervous about such a 'stud' being interested in a geek like him and is unsure of himself and their relationship through most of the book. dylan feels like he's in limbo since his boss (to whom he was indentured) is brought down. he is immediately smitten with spencer but doens't think he's good enough for him. the vulnerability shown but this strong man is endearing. they seem to skirt around whether or not they both want a permanent relationship but deep down they both do.

this book is pretty action packed with a couple of quick, hot sex scenes. i was a little disappointed in the ending...the door seems to be wide open for their future but the next book is about someone else entirely. i'm hopeful we'll see more of these 2 in the next book.
