Didn’t find myself rooting for the main characters and didn’t care enough about the love story to finish. The way the heroine immediately is infatuated with the guy just isn’t the kind of romance I like to read either - not enough mystery maybe.

4 ⭐️ because I just finished and I’m on a happy reading high.
First, I LOVE Ruthie and Teddy. I was really scared at the beginning that I’d hate the characters but I really did like them in the end.
Opposites attract with such an interesting plot. You really see the growth of the characters and there were so many heartwarming and funny moments.

I didn’t want this one to end so quickly which is probably my only gripe. When I was reading and saw I was at 85%, I wasn’t sure how it would wrap up. It did, but it felt kind of rushed in my opinion. That’s really what made it 4 ⭐️ for me.

Thank you Sally Thorne for this book and I will try to be patient while I wait for the next one

A cutie little read. Very easy and fast. Cute love story. Happy ending.

This book was sweet and sometimes funny.

I liked it but I felt like something was missing. Teddy was great, I actually really enjoyed his character and how sweet and caring he was.

Ruthie was ok, I understand where she was coming from but she was a bit annoying at times.

The third act conflict is completely understandable and I knew what it would be from the start, but somehow still felt silly and rushed.

It was ok, still an enjoyable read but not something I think i would read again. I still recommend because it’s a very cute and sweet story, just wasn’t for me.

DNF.
This is probably the first time ever that I’ve started a book and not finished it. I read about 40% of it and could not continue. The story drags on sooo much, and the way the characters lives are written is so mundane and dull. I really wanted to be invested in Ruthie and Teddys relationship but its the type of slow burn thats draining and boring. The Hating Game is one of my favourite books so I’m sad that I couldnt finish this one
