Bella's story takes a really dark turn in this book. Since I'm not on team Jacob, I found most of this book to be a distraction from the story of Edward and Bella. While this is well written, the subject matter was too heavy for me.

I've finally made my way through the second Twilight novel. They really are addicting! Even though my adult mind and literary snobbery sometimes interfered with my full enjoyment of it (I mean really, does Bella have to SO pathetic? Does the author have to write so clumsily? And honestly, the mushiness can be a bit over the top, but I digress). Having said all that, I will proceed to the third and fourth (lol) and I'm sure I will devour them with equally as much speed and enthusiasm as this one. By the way, I'm TEAM EDWARD all the way!
