Another great read by Ta-Nehisi Coates. I love how he talks about land, whether it is homeland or one foreign to us, even if it is our heritage. I particularly found his section on Palestine illuminating and profound. I had read an interview about the author on this book, and was curious to hear his experience in Gaza and Israel. He did not disappoint. He is an author I am continually drawn to, a master of observation and nuance with a sharp eye and a soft hand. Highly recommend.
