my poor julian he deserves the world of happiness. this book hurtttt me for him!!!

daisy and christian :( enough said i feel.

that ending hurt my soul. i knew something would happen, but i didn’t entirely expect that ending.

i’ve grown so attached to these books, the drama of it all.

Tandem read and it made this book so much better.

“You don’t need a fair-weather lover, you need the person that’s going to stand next to you in their wellies, staring down the barrel of the storm.”

Jessa Hastings does it again. I love this universe.

3.75/5 - The Daisy Haites books definitely have more action, more plot. Contrastingly different from Magnolia Parks, obviously intentionally. Christian Hemmes being blunt, honest, and not giving a f*ck is a new favorite. Honestly though, if they were all that honest with themselves and others, there wouldn’t be books, but his bluntness is refreshing and I’m here for it. Finally! Julian has more of a main character vibe, and while I do enjoy his POV and chapters, Daisy and Christian’s story felt like a backseat? Even though it was supposed to be a Daisy Haites book and not a Magnolia Parks book? I don’t know. Maybe that’s just me. And as always, still toxic AF. :)
