THE FMC AND MMC ARE BOTH SERIAL KILLERS??? SIGN ME UP!
this book gave me all the feels, tragic back story, “who did this to you?”, “touch her and you’ll *literally* die”….it gave a bit of rivals-to-lovers because they were competing on both:
1. their place of work
2. that there could only be one serial killer in their area.

I love knowing that only those two characters could find love within each other…like there’s literally no one else who could understand them and accept all them except for each other.

I used to be a die hard criminal minds fan and loved fbi agents hunting down serial killers so why did this book have me rooting for the killers!? It was just that good.

The trigger warnings and dark content were no joke but I didn’t feel like it was gore and graphic for shock and awe which I appreciate.

The chemistry between Jack and Kyrie was off the charts and both their put on personas and their authentic selves were so engaging that reading it felt like a sprint. The epilogue was the perfect ending to their story.

NOT FOR THE FAINT-HEARTED. HEED THE TRIGGER WARNINGS FROM THE AUTHORS.

I honest-to-God do not know how to rate this one. This book is on a whole new caliber for my reading genre.

"The unholy way in which I’m about to take her would make angels repent."

I feel like that should've been TW enough.

It's chilling. It does not aim to make you understand cold-blooded killers but it does give you lens to their activities. It's goosebumps-inducing. I was actually very afraid that the authors would try to make me sympathize with killers but no. This story truly is about villains, REAL COLD-BLOODED VILLAINS. Psychopats, if you will. Also, the way they think and their activities are disgusting, terrifying, and totally abhorrent.
